Job description
We are urgently seeking experienced Client Service Officers (ideally with call centre or debt collection experience) to join our temporary team working with a Queensland Government department in Ipswich.
Working in a high volume inbound/outbound contact centre environment, this temporary role is responsible for collections and supporting clients to meet their obligations by facilitating payment arrangements.
In considering applications, we will be seeking:
Previous customer service experience in a high volume environment (call centre and/or debt collection experience advantageous but not essential)
Well developed communication skills (this role requires the ability to communicate empathetically, assertively and confidently to negotiate a positive outcome).
Sound judgement skills (we are seeking your ability to interpret business processes to make decisions whilst exercising sound judgement and negotiation skills to recover outstanding debts, including setting up payment plans).
Confidence learning and using technology to enable the ability to efficiently navigate computer systems.
Fast and accurate data entry skills.
Availability to commence on 17/04/2023
Due to the nature of the role, successful applicants will be required to complete and receive a national criminal history check confirming no disclosable court outcomes or pending charges recorded prior to appointment.
We anticipate an initial duration through to 30 June 2023, however, there is a high likelihood of extension based on business needs. Casual rostering will be across Monday to Friday (approximately 36.25 hours per week). A casual hourly rate of $44.49 plus superannuation applies.
