Due to unprecedented business growth and overwhelming demand, they are looking to expand their business and take on an Apprentice Plasterer to commence or continue their apprenticeship. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wishes to get into the plastering trade and join a growing industry.
The Role
The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of plastering including:
- Filling and straightening corners, angles, walls and surfaces
- Sheet ceilings and walls
- Levelling and smoothing using specific tools to obtain an even thickness of various surfaces
- Complying with work health safety procedures
- Following company processes
This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As an apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards your Certificate III in Plastering.
Requirements
- Be able to use hand tools
- Have an interest in learning a unique and hard to come by apprenticeship
- Be comfortable at working at heights
- Be physically fit
- Be a good listener and able to follow orders
- Have reliable transport (license is not necessary)
- 100% commitment to completing this 4 year apprenticeship
- White card prior to commencement
- COVID - 19 vaccination
