AddressFounded in 1994, MacKillop Catholic College is a co-educational Years 7 to12 Catholic secondary school located in Mornington on Hobart’s Eastern Shore. As a Christ-centred community inspired by the charism of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop and the spirit of Blessed Edmund Rice, we are committed to a holistic Catholic education in faith and hope and love.
Due to significant increases in enrolments across all year levels and the introduction of Year 11 in 2023 and Year 12 from 2024, the College invites applications from teachers seeking full-time ongoing employment the opportunity to additionally undertake the following Positions of Leadership and Positions of Responsibility:
Director of Junior School (PoL 4 and 0.5 FTE time release)
Director of Pastoral Care (PoL 4 and 0.5 FTE time release)
House Leader (PoL 3 and 0.25 FTE time release)
Learning Leader–Religious Education (PoL 3 and 0.25 FTE time release)
Aboriginal Student Success Teacher (PoR with 0.125 FTE time release)
Literacy Practice Leader (PoR with 0.4 FTE time release)
TASC Liaison Officer (PoR with 0.125 FTE time release)
Applicants with a commitment and genuine willingness to teach Religious Education in combination with the above roles will be preferenced.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
