Program Eligibility
To be eligible for the ACT Government Graduate Program, you must:
be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport
have completed a Australian Qualification Framework Level 7 qualification (a Bachelor Degree) or higher equivalent in the past five years (between 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2023)
be available to start work on Monday, 5 February 2024
The ACT Government Graduate Program offers adjusted eligibility for people from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and people with a Disability. If you are an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person or person with Disability you must:
be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport
have completed an Australian Qualification Framework Level 7 qualification (a Bachelor Degree) or higher equivalent in the past seven years (1 January 2017 to 31 December 2023)
be available to start work on Monday, 5 February 2024
- Please note that evidence of citizenship or permanent residency will be required by 30 September 2023 to be eligible for the ACT Government Graduate Program.
