About the role
As an Electrical and Mechanical Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced technicians and engineers, gaining hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your technical skills and knowledge in both disciplines, allowing you to broaden your expertise within the field. We are looking for individuals who are motivated, eager to learn, and committed to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians and electricians in electrical and mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Learn and apply electrical and mechanical concepts, techniques, and codes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings & manuals.
- Conduct tests and inspections to identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in both electrical and mechanical fields.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 2nd or 3rd YearElectrical Apprenticeship program.
- Strong interest in both electrical and mechanical trades, with a desire to build a successful career in these fields.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and components.
- Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow technical instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor as required.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license.
