About the Role
-Be motivated to learn and confident to ask questions
-General servicing of light vehicles.
-Tyre replacement and balance.
-Assisting mechanics where necessary.
-Cleaning working areas.
-Follow safe working practices in an automotive environment.
-Use & maintain tools & equipment specific to light vehicle automotive.
During the apprentice years, you will gain knowledge on basic vehicle diagnostics and guided fault finding with the appropriate diagnostics tools. You will develop the necessary skills and competencies whilst completing studies to obtain recognition as a trade’s person over 4 years and be acknowledged as a certified technician.
