We are looking for passionate Female and Male Disability Support Workers who have experience in TBI, PTSD, Seizures, Epilepsy and Mental Health to join our team in North Brisbane, Stafford, providing exceptional support to a client, including sleepovers and Community Access You will have the opportunity to assist in developing essential skills, including personal care, cooking, domestic assistance, social support and relationship building.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
· Ability to work both within a team and autonomously
· Mental Health experience
· Seizure experience
. TBI experience or similar
. Epilepsy experience
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
· Genuine desire to support people with disabilities using a person-centered approach
· A commitment to continuous learning and improving communication skills
· Sound judgement and problem solving a must.
· Pet friendly
The role is open to Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander identified

· Blue Card
· Yellow Card
· Current police check
· Current first aid and CPR certificate
· Valid Australian driver's license (with a reliable and comprehensively insured car)
· Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or another relevant qualification

-The client is a 24hr client which means that shifts will be in the morning, afternoon and overnight (inactive- unless something changes)

Job Type – Casual
Pay from $35.00
Expected hours: 15-24 per week
