Our client is a leading supplier of value-added ingredients to Australia and New Zealand’s Food Industries and they are firm believers in providing solutions to their customers. ROLE
Are you an R&D Scientist working on the formulation of health and nutrition products, which are regulated by the TGA, and looking to move into the commercial space? If so, please keep reading!
Due to growth, our client is looking to employ a permanent full-time Account Manager to join their Commercial Team. Full sales and product training will be provided-call us for more information about this opportunity.
Reporting to the Sales & Business Development Manager you will look after various accounts across our client’s Health and Nutrition portfolio. You will be the technical go-to person and, leveraging your formulation experience, you will guide customers to select ingredients that enhance their product performance and increase market share.
Some of your duties will include:
- Develop partnerships across your portfolio of accounts and, in doing so, create opportunities for new business
- In consultation with Product Managers, answer your clients' technical questions
- Provide pricing and product information
- Manage your accounts and engage with Sales Managers and Product Managers to cross-sell and ultimately grow sales
- Develop an understanding of market value for key ingredients within your product portfolio
- Foster relationships with product suppliers by attending product training
SELECTION CRITERIA
Previous Sales Experience is not essential.
To be shortlisted for this exciting opportunity you shall need to meet the following criteria:
- A relevant tertiary-level qualification is essential, preferably a degree in science
- Minimum of two years of formulation experience working with TGA-regulated products in pharmaceutical or complementary industries
- Capability to build rapport with customers via phone and email
- A self-starter, able to work autonomously-underpinned by a demonstrated hunger for sales
- Strong desire to provide exceptional service to all customers, whilst maintaining the profitability of the business
- Exceptional time management skills and computer literacy (i.e., BC, CRM, Excel & Word)
- Professionalism in ensuring customer focus, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Agility to change, which allows continual refinement of procedures
- Hold a valid Australian driver licence
