The proprietors of ZW Lighting made the decision to expand the company by bringing in new partners in 2020. Lawell Lighting Pty Ltd, the enlarged business, seeks to maintain the growth of the old Lawell Company and turn it into a significant supplier to the Australian market. Lawell Lighting is a significant lighting wholesale provider for the Electrical Wholesale, Lighting, and Fire Supply segments.
The Role
As Lawell Lighting's Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to create and service customer connections while driving our wholesale lighting market growth plan.
Creating an effective sales call cycle, giving product presentations, and following up on sales efforts.
Creating new business by collaborating with electrical contractors, specifier’s, builders, and developers, and routing sales through preferred lighting wholesalers and distributors.
Maintaining and expanding existing connections with major accounts and tier one contractors.
Experience
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
• 2-3 year’s sales of an Electrical product or application
• Proven sales / wholesaler experience (preference for wholesale electrical/lighting).
• Excellent communication abilities.
• The capacity to turn leads and enquiries into sales.
• The capacity to work individually as necessary while retaining a team-oriented mindset.
• The ability to deliver product presentations and offer technical support.
