Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting the overall accounting operations of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting principles and regulations.
Analyse financial data and provide insights into clients’ financial performance.
Prepare and file tax returns for clients in accordance with taxation laws and regulations.
Provide financial advice to clients, assist clients in making informed financial decisions based on analysis and industry best practices.
Conduct audits and reviews of clients' financial statements and records.
Conduct audits of clients' financial records, identifying discrepancies and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Maintain accurate and organised financial records for clients' potential audits or investigations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting practices, technologies, and industry trends.
Provide exceptional client service and support.
Qualifications and Requirements:
At least bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of similar experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated eagerness to learn and develop in the accounting profession.
