As an Accounts Officer, you would work with an enthusiastic manager as part of a supportive team based in Sydney CBD. If successful, you will be a point of contact in assisting with the timely processing of invoices and payments to suppliers whilst managing key internal and external stakeholders. You will also need to have a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Other key responsibilities will include the following:

• Processing fortnightly payment runs
• Accurate data entry and supplier statement reconciliation
• Liaising with relevant departments to problem solve
• Month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and process improvements

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• You have over 1 year experience in full function accounts payable, including supplier reconciliations and payment runs

• You also have experience in a time sheet driven finance environment. This could be legal, construction, advertising, media or similar.

• Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for learning are essential to being successful in this role

• Proactive and possess strong work ethic
