AddressWe are currently seeking a suitably experienced Accounts Officer to join our team based in Subiaco on a fixed term contract basis for six months with the option to extend by mutual agreement.
About the role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working within a small finance team, the tasks will include:
- Project set up according to proposals.
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Invoicing monthly
- Debtors – chasing of overdue invoices.
- Monthly visa cards reconciliation
- Budget control
- Forecasting
- Ad hoc reports for Project Managers requiring further information on their projects
About You
This role would be perfect for those wanting to work school hours or part time - ideally 5 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Skills and experience include:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Suite (Excel preferred).
- Previous experience with BST will be highly regarded.
- Self-starter, proactive, strong work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills to efficiently resolve discrepancies on projects and AP/AR
