Job description
You will be joining a successful and positive hands on finance team and take over the end to end Accounts Payable function, working closely with finance on cash flow and reporting.
Your Opportunity
Working closely with the small hands on finance team, you will be responsible for end to end Accounts Payable. You will also be a back up and support to the payroll manager.
The role covers all areas of accounts payable, covering internal expenses and credit card reporting as well as looking after all suppliers and reporting.
You will do work from reconciliations and month end reporting and analysis, to business partnering with the finance team around cash flow management.
Some of your time will be spent assisting in the other areas of accounting, especially providing back up to the payroll team when needed.
Your Profile
Hands on accountant who has worked in end to end Accounts Payable and who is passionate about AP and its impact on an organisation.
You must have a proven ability to work in a small and hands on team, and understands the flow of data and information across an organisation. You must also bring some experience in payroll or proven attitude and ability where you can assist where needed in the team.
Strong Excel skills are needed and a proven ability to pick up systems quickly in this new environment.
You must also be immediately available and open to an initial 6 months role and happy to be based on site. For the right person, there is an opportunity for this role to go permanent.
You must be a great communicator who can work with the finance team and the broader business and add value.

The salary depends on experience and a guide is $35 - $45 ph plus super, depending on experience. The current incumbent is remaining in the business and doing a new role internally, so the hand over will be excellent and make your transition to your new role seamless.
