Our Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer based in our Asia Pacific Headquarters in North Sydney, reporting to Accounts Payable Supervisor in APAC, and is part of a larger local and global Finance team. The ideal candidate will be part of an exciting phase of the Graymont journey. We are looking for a team player with a change-positive mindset, whilst demonstrating our key behaviours.
Key responsibilities include.
- Full function accounts payable in a paperless environment
- Processing and scanning of invoices using Esker AP automation
- 3-way voucher matching
- Preparing weekly EFT and manual payments
- Managing accounts payable mailbox and assisting sites and external vendors with their queries in a timely and professional manner
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Responsible for KPI reporting for allocated portfolio
- Preparing and reviewing weekly outstanding PO reports
- Support monthly reconciliations
- Support process improvement projects in the Accounts Payable and broader Finance function and Plant sites.
The ideal candidate will have 3 plus years of experience in a similar role and automated AP environment. Motivated individual who can hit the ground running and manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders. Ability to work in a team environment and to be able to work with minimal supervision. Experience with JDE and AP automation solution (Esker) would be an advantage along with strong Excel skills (Vlookup, Pivot tables).
