About the Position
As part of our Finance team, the Accounts Payable Officer plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of Accounts Payable transactions by facilitating the end-to-end process. They are entrusted to maintain strong supplier relationships as they will interact and engage effectively with various stakeholders, internal and external to Stramit. You will be managing full-function Accounts Payable duties including processing of invoices and payments to all suppliers.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity based onsite at our Erskine Park branch.
Key responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate processing of creditor invoices to ensure all payments are made per the payment schedule.
- Receiving supplier invoices, matching purchase orders and dealing with issues arising from discrepancies.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of outstanding creditor invoices and assist with month-end processes.
- Reviewing coding and amending where necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of Accounts Payable transactions including invoices, payments and other documentation.
- Assisting both clients and suppliers with invoice and account queries/issues to assist in prompt payment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
- ADHOC duties.
