About the Role
The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for managing the company's payable function, including processing and payments of client's invoices, credit card reconciliations, and reporting.
We are seeking a quick learner, who ideally comes with an Accounts Payable background. The role would be 15 hours per week between 9 am - 5 pm.
The Accounts Payable Officer also has the following responsibilities:
Processing high volume of Customer Payments - EFTPOS and Direct Debits
Record and reconcile the bank transactions against various MYOB Files
Cancellations, refunds and write off processing
Credit Card transactions processing and management
CRM (Genesis) and MYOB reconciliation
Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices
Reconciled processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing checks
Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting accounts transactions
Disburses petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation
Protects organisations value by keeping information confidential.
About You:
Understanding and exposure to end-to-end Accounts Payable functions
Advanced MYOB and Excel skills
Very strong attention to detail
Assertive and a strong communicator
Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
Proactive, identify errors and recommend solutions
