About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate Accounts Payable. As the Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for paying all hotel invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring cost allocation is in line with budget and the preparation of reports as required.
In addition to the above, other duties include:
Ensure timely and accurate processing of all hotel invoices by their respective due dates to prevent any additional payments incurred
Maintain the integrity of the approval procedures by ensuring that all invoices are supported by appropriate authorisation & supporting documentation (Purchase Orders etc.)
Ensure invoice amounts are consistent with contracts/agreements
Ensure the accuracy of payments to the suppliers
Liaise with suppliers with their enquiries regarding payments
Assistance with costing projects as required
About you:
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Finance & Economics or equivalent (preferred)
Minimum two year of relevant experience in a similar capacity
Experienced in accounts payable & inventory movement functions in hospitality business will be advantageous.
Broad competent exposure to all facets of accounting
High attention to detail and astute analytical ability
Technology savvy with computer systems (Microsoft Office, CHECKEAM inventory system, SUN system, OPERA etc.)
Friendly, professional & effective communicator
