SalaryJob Title: Accounts Person
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This Position is 9 am to 3 pm, 3 to 5 days per week. This position will start at the end of March ( We are flexible with days)
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations, including invoicing, billing, and accounts payable/receivable
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Provide support to other departments as needed
- Following up on unpaid invoices
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Xero, and other relevant accounting software
- Police clearance
- Three references from previous employees working in a similar position
