AddressOur client is an established global business that is looking for an energetic and experienced Accounts Receivable officer to join their supportive team. The role is an end-to-end Accounts Receivable position, including managing ledgers independently, claims, allocations, collections, receipting and reconciliations. Additionally, the client is looking for a strong communicator who is comfortable with a fast-paced Accounts Recievable desk and has a proactive approach to the AR function.
The responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Accounts Recievable Supervisor, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Processing of all cheques, direct deposit and EFT payments in an accurate & timely manner;
- Manage the collection process on assigned ledger/s contacting customers by telephone & email.
- Account reconciliation – ensure accounts on assigned ledger are reconciled.
- Dispute resolution – Ensure disputes are recorded, investigated & resolved in line with process.
- Process Credit claims, rebates & allocate these to agreed deadlines.
- Liaise with customers, sales & operations staff as well as other stakeholders as required;
- Issue Invoices, statements and reports to customers and stakeholders as required;
- Validate and process credit notes, rebates and allocate these to agreed deadlines.
- Credit check and open new accounts, and credit limits as required.
- Resolve inbound telephone and email account queries.
- Any other adhoc duties as required.
The successful applicant will have
- Strong experience within the Credit and Accounts Receivable Space
- Excellent communication skills, (written and verbal) for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A great team player who can socialize well within a team.
- Experience in managing ledger/s independently
- Comfortable with a fast paced AR desk
- Be immediately available - able to start work within a week
