About the role
Reporting to the Collections Manager, the Accounts Receivable Officer – Cash Applications is assigned a business bank account and is responsible for the efficient, accurate and timely application of customer payments against the outstanding debt on their ledger. The allocation process is integral to the integrity of the debtor’s ledger and accuracy of accounts. Whilst managing the account, the incumbent will engage in a proactive review and follow up of all unallocated receipts through effective relationships with internal stakeholders.

You will also have:
Experienced within Accounts Receivables/Collections roles
Advanced proficiency in large scale ERP systems, SAP, JDE or Symix is preferred.
Previous experience working within the construction industry - highly desirable
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
