The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) is the only college accredited to train ophthalmologists for Australia and New Zealand. We are a membership organisation, and a not-for-profit, with a focus on lifelong education and standard setting. RANZCO is centrally located in Surry Hills; we have around 30 staff.

This role is on a Permanent Part-Time basis for 15 hours a week.

This role will focus on coordinating the administrative functions that support accreditation of ophthalmology training posts across Australia and New Zealand. The Education team are looking to recruit an experienced and professional administrator with exceptional attention to detail and time management skills. This is a flexible part time role and will appeal to those who thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment where your well-developed skills will ensure high standards are achieved and maintained.

Responsibilities will include:

• Administer accreditation reviews and site visits to ophthalmology training posts and networks across Australia and New Zealand.
• Attend accreditation visits and support the Inspection Team.
• Provide high-level customer support to all members and ensure key messages are delivered in an impactful manner.
• Maintain policy and procedures for all areas of responsibility
• Perform any other relevant tasks as directed by the Senior Manager Evaluation and Quality Assurance.

Experience

• Collaborating with stakeholders to design, plan, implement and continually improve activities, systems, and tools.
• Administering quality assurance or compliance programs.
• Using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Using digital systems including Learning Management Systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and records and information systems.

This role is located in Surry Hills, Sydney, located conveniently opposite Central Station. The College has a fully flexible/hybrid work practice with staff working remotely from home (supplied with suitable technology) and attending the office one to two days per week for team and other collaborative activities.
