Job description

Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Social Worker/Registered Occupational Therapist or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join the Bairnsdale ACIS team on a part time on going basis (.5 EFT 40 hours per fortnight).

Reporting to the Manager this role plays an important role in providing quality care to our consumer at Latrobe Regional Hospital.

The successful applicant will:

  • Sound knowlede of the Mental Health Act 2014 and other relevant legislation
  • Abiity to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to Mental Health consumers
  • Work within a high-performing and passionate team

The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill. The regional mental health workforce incentive grants will support the attraction, recruitment, and retention of new workers to Latrobe Regional Hospitals mental health services in regional Victoria. This role has been identified as being eligible for an incentive payment of up to $20,000 subject to eligibility and negotiation with successful candidates. This incentive may be used to reimburse rent, childcare, school fees, relocation costs and more!
