The Role:
Reporting to the Resort Manager, the Activities Manager provides exceptional service to all guests at NRMA Parks and Resorts by managing the Activities Department, Activities Hosts and Outdoor Activities Instructors, coordinating activities programs and procedures for the department, and working closely with the Resort Manager to provide a safe and entertaining environment for kids and their parents.
The Activities Manager will be guest facing, and support the Resort Manager by interacting regularly, and working closely with other department heads to lead the Activities Holiday Hosts through the BGSA and activities programs and procedures.
Key deliverables include:
- Supervising, training and mentoring Activities Holiday Hosts
- Creating, implementing and coordinating activities programs and events to ensure the program is relevant, interesting and budget compliant.
- Creating and managing rosters for all Activities Holiday Hosts.
- Maintaining and leading the BGSA Mission Program
- Ensuring that all services offered in activities programs are always available and are carried out with the utmost efficiency, care and professionalism.
- Coordinating equipment associated with all activities programs and perform audits of activities equipment

You will demonstrate a flexible attitude to work and the passion to work as part of a team who are hands on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest experience and activities events and programs. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have financial and strategic management experience. You are a hands-on leader; you walk the talk, have an affinity with NRMA Playbook Pillars, can communicate to, manage and liaise with team members and stakeholders at all levels.

- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, tourism and/or 3 years’ experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous.
