AddressSt Joseph's Nudgee College is a Catholic day and boarding school in the Edmund Rice tradition for boys (Years 5-12), with a student population of 1730 including 310 Boarding students. The College caters for students from the local Brisbane area, regional and remote Queensland, interstate and overseas. We uphold the values of Edmund Rice Education Australia in providing quality Catholic education to students.
The College is seeking to employ an experienced Admin Assistant to work:
- 5 day fortnight:
- week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- week 2 - Thursday, Friday
- Core hours: 8am - 2.30pm, flexibility needed for offsite Dr appointments
- 37 weeks a year - School term time only.
Please note: In 2025 this role will convert to a full time role during the School terms.
The role has two components:
- Office administration
- Appointment bookings, for internal and external Drs.
- General computer and office tasks (e.g. filing, typing, data entry).
- Liaising with parents, via phone and email.
- Ward housekeeping (e.g. serving meals to patients, changing bedding).
2. Transport students to and attend external medical appointments (using College car).
Mandatory requirements
- Valid open drivers licence.
- Current First Aid certificate.
- Employment is subject to obtaining and maintaining a Blue Card, working with children.
- Highly confident.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
