About Us
Sea the Future is an industry initiative that aims to reduce plastic leakage to nature and accelerate the transition towards a circular plastics economy. It turns the current ‘take-make-waste’ approach into one where plastic retains a value after use and is reused and recycled.
We work with and through industry to unblock, accelerate and scale market solutions for a circular economy for plastic. We are driving down the cost of plastic recycling by addressing the scale economics, regulatory frameworks, off-take commitments, technology gaps, financing needs, and end-to-end value chain development.
We are building a consortium of leading global brands to unlock the supply and demand for recycled plastics. We are developing a global network of sorting and recycling plants, starting in the Netherlands and Indonesia with planned expansion to other countries.
