ed growth. Recent changes in the building industry have resulted in the business being awarded numerous new builds in addition to taking over projects abandoned by other builders. This is a great opportunity for you to assist the team in this busy time with the opportunity to move to a permanent position if long term employment is what you are seeking.
The Position
Working within a positive and friendly work environment, you will provide vital support to the busy team. The purpose of this temporary position is to assist the team by managing the enquiries into the business in addition to providing administration support. Responsibilities would include;
- Answering and managing calls, enquiries, and emails
- Maintain information in the database
- Data entry and document management
- General administration overflow as required
If you have always wanted to break into the building industry, then this would be your opportunity. Whilst some industry experience would be ideal, it is not essential. This position is initially being offered as a 3 month temporary position with view to permanent. Being a family business who understand the importance of work life balance, they are also happy to offer the temporary position on a full time or part time basis i.e. school hours could be accommodated! Over the long term, the team have also been able to have some flexibility of hybrid, work from home, (one day per week). Whilst WFH is unlikely to be available during the initial temporary period, this is something that is on offer over the long term if a permanent position is your end goal. In other words, there is flexibility in this role, so talk to us about your needs and we will see if this can be accommodated!
Your own transport will be required as located at Brendale. Parking is also available onsite.
