Our Local Government client is looking for an Administration Assistant on a temporary part-time basis (48hr fortnight) for approximately 6 months with the potential to go permanent! ASAP start.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative assistance to the Executive Assistant to ensure the provision of appropriate executive support for the Chief Executive Officer and Mayor.
- Prepare various reports, memorandums, correspondence and other associated word processing tasks.
- Assist in recording and controlling inward and outward mail for the Chief Executive Officer and Mayor, including:
- Assist in coordinating the Elected Member Requests
- Answer incoming calls to the Executive Services Office and take phone messages, or transfer customers to the appropriate Officer for action, as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous relevant clerical experience working in an office environment.
