Located on the northern bank of the Pioneer River since 2003, our hospital is a modern 105 bed facility featuring five operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a wide range of specialist clinical services.
About the role
The Administration Assistant - Executive Support shall undertake a range or combination of administrative activities and operations requiring the application of skills and experience with general knowledge of the work to be performed as a member of the Central Administration team of the Hospital.
This Administration Assistant - Executive Support will undertake specific functions and tasks that focus on maintaining a standard of exceptional customer service and positively enhancing the patient experience.
This is a Full-Time position of 76hrs per fortnight.
Base hourly rates range from $32.40 to $33.70
What you’ll be doing:
Administration Assistant - Executive Support responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide a high level of administrative support and assistance to clinical care teams and others. Undertake all assigned duties, tasks and activities within the scope of personal expertise, such as minute taking, scheduling meetings and ordering stationery and supplies by relevant policies, procedures and verbal or written work instructions of the Hospital, Executive Officer and Mater;
- Maintain contemporary knowledge of best practice initiatives and processes associated with assigned duties and tasks;
- Manage time effectively to meet task-associated deadlines whilst ensuring that those associated with the patient care experience take priority;
- Identify efficiency and improvement opportunities and participate in any resulting change or implementation processes;

- A high degree of agility to respond to a variety of arising matters and job assignments;
- Exceptional customer service skills;
- Proficient in written and interpersonal communication; and
- Digital and computer literacy
Desirable:
- Minimum Certificate III qualifications in a related discipline;
- Experience in a medical receptionist or customer service focused position
