We are seeking to appoint an energetic Administration Assistant to join our team at Good Shepherd Child Care Centre and Kindergarten to job share on a permanent part-time basis. To be successful in this role, flexibility is essential as our operating hours are from 6AM to 6PM.
Situated in the heart of Springfield Lakes, we have a modern building with new facilities, resources and community rooms and are an integral part of the Catholic community.
Hours: Permanent Part-time, 32.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming families and parents to the service, being the first point of contact
- Providing general reception and admin support to the service including mail, banking, photocopying, filing
- Assistance with financial administration including coding and filing of invoices,
- Document preparation and email distribution (e.g. newsletters, invitations, important information)
- Preparation of meeting room facilities for internal and external stakeholders as required
- Demonstrated ability in providing reception services and administrative support,
- Strong computer skills including spreadsheet work, mail merging, document control and electronic filing systems
- Appropriate time management skills to complete delegated and own tasks within required timeframes
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills for providing excellent support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and with others
- Knowledge of child care industry operations would be highly desirable
