The Administration Assistant - Student Development is a member of the Student Development multi-disciplinary team at Carey. Our primary purpose is the on-going development and implementation Carey's whole-school approach to student wellbeing. We believe that optimal wellbeing for students is when they possess a strong sense of self-efficacy, agency, purpose, and belonging which enables them to flourish in school and in life. The interconnectedness of student wellbeing and learning is embedded in our policies, programs and practices, and fostered through positive everyday relational experiences.
This key focus areas for this position are:
- reception and administration duties to support the smooth operations of the team
- the management of high-level medial administration and compliance obligations
- Highly developed communication skills
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to operate as a professional and to the highest standards of customer service
- Previous experience using Synergetic and/or Consent2Go would be highly regarded
