Forest House provides accounting, corporate, business advisory, and taxation services to companies in various industries in Australia and overseas, working with clients both face-to-face and remotely. Through developing a thorough understanding of a company’s values and objectives, Forest House provide fresh, timely and cost-effective business solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant (part-time) to support the Director in the Corporate Advisory/Accounting sector. This is a varied role responsible for a range of office administration tasks to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency.
Duties will include:
- Meeting and greeting clients
- Answering phone calls
- Collating client files
- Maintaining ASIC registers of clients
- Emailing clients with ATO advice
- Maintaining Share Registries
- Document collation and emailing to clients and shareholders
- Monitoring, prioritising, and responding to Director’s emails
- Basic bookkeeping in Xero and MYOB (training provided)
- Scheduling
- General administration
- Other miscellaneous responsibilities as required
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in an Administrative Assistant role, preferably in the corporate/accounting sector, however, training will be provided as required
- Be experienced in the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Have a basic understanding of bookkeeping using Xero or MYOB
- Have the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Work with the Director in the Mount Hawthorn, WA office.
