In this position, you will provide the first point of contact between the Physiotherapy and Nutrition & Dietetics Departments and our patients, carers and families. You will deliver administrative support to assist the departments in providing an efficient and effective service.
Your duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:
Answering telephone and assisting with general enquiries
Provide a high-level of patient-centred care and positive experience of allied health services for patients and carers attending the Women’s
Monitor and manage EMR VINAH reporting
Coordinate the services (both inpatient and outpatient) between patients and staff
Provide administrative support to assist the departments in providing an efficient and effective service
To be successful within this role you will need to have:
Clerical/reception experience (minimum 12 months) in a healthcare setting (Essential)
Computer literacy and a working knowledge of word processing is essential
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and booking systems is desirable
Well-developed customer service and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated skill and ability with computer based applications

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Influenza Vaccination Requirement
In line with the Health Services Amendment (Mandatory Vaccination of Healthcare Workers) Act 2020, some health care workers are now required to have their flu vaccination to work in health care. Evidence of vaccination is required.
As this role fits into category A or B of the departments risk ratings, applicants will be required to have been vaccinated against influenza. Evidence of vaccination is required.
