The role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Administration Officer has the responsibility of receiving and processing material orders and customer enquiries via phone, email, and face to face. The Administration Officer will work closely with the customer service officer, operations team and account managers to ensure our customers receive a high level off service and satisfaction.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Record and process all order details accurately
- Book customer deliveries via our logistics partners
- Ensure all deliveries comply with COR and BFM laws
- Schedule orders to meet customer needs
- Follow protocol when dealing with sales leads
- Administering stock take process
- Produce load out schedule daily for operations team
- Process card sale transactions and refunds
- Complete end of day banking
- Project administration, including costing, accounts receivable invoicing and invoice reconciliation;
- Proven ability and experience in customer service administration;
- Excellentpeople skills and communication skills;
- Proficient MS Office skills;
- Basic Fatigue Management accredited desirable
- Proven knowledge of logistics and goods transport will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail;
- Good organisational and multi-tasking skills with an ability to prioritise competing deadlines; and
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships within a team environment.
