About the Position
Anglicare SQ supports who may be navigating significant challenges in their lives. Anglicare’s Homelessness Services Women and Families provides assistance to women at risk of or experiencing homelessness, by offering temporary accommodation and support, and building their capacity to sustain tenancies into the future. Our service focuses on assisting women to feel safe, to explore opportunities for sustainable housing solutions, build upon their resilience and support them in their journey towards change.

To help support our dedicated team we are seeking a full time Administration Officer to join our team in Toowong.

This is a great opportunity for an administration officer looking for a role where they can make a difference. We are looking for someone who is efficient and focussed on supporting women accessing our service.

Salary is Admin Agreement Award rate starting from $27.7203 per hour.

About you
We’re looking for a dynamic worker with strong administration skills and a “can-do” attitude. Further experience and key selection criteria include:
  • A commitment to the importance of high quality, friendly and courteous customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise, advise and work with staff, managers and clients at all levels and deal with complex and sensitive interpersonal matters
  • Demonstrated strong experience in a similar administration role, including maintaining property/accommodation, inventory and financial management, and liaising with contractors
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines, independently and as a team member
