AV is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to provide Support for our Contracts/Business Performance Team. This is a full time, fixed-term (Until December 2023) position currently based in Blackburn North.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Contracts & Business Performance, the responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the administrative services for the team and provide timely & effective diary management and co-ordinate and prepare key documentation.
Support the efficient dissemination of information such as policy changes staffing updates, payroll notifications and other documentation to facilitate efficiency.
Develop and maintain accurate documentation e.g. communications plans, stakeholder management plans, etc.
Prepare reporting and financial documentation for the various contract management teams within the contracts & Business Performance Team.
Ensure all outgoing correspondence, reports, submissions and briefings conform to AV's presentation, style, format, and content protocols.
About you
To be considered for this position you will possess:
A tertiary qualification in health, business, finance, human resources, project administrations or related experience in one or more of these disciplines (desirable).
Demonstrated experience and expertise in providing secretarial and administrative support in a business or customer service environment.
Effective interpersonal skills to gain acceptance and support of ideas.
It is expected that you possess demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of administrative systems with proven experience using word processing and spread sheeting applications including intermediate computer skills and proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite applications. You would also have the appropriate team skills to actively participate as a member of a team and assist others to achieve work goals, along with the ability to operate under pressure in a stressful environment & work effectively within tight timelines with the initiative to ensure issues and ideas are identified and addressed appropriately.

This position is graded at a Band 4 under the Ambulance Victoria Enterprise Agreement (AVEA) 2020.
