Primary objective
This position will provide quality administrative support to drive, support and deliver contemporary learning solutions, including
eLearning, to meet enterprise objectives and client requirements and achieve improved workforce capability outcomes.
Context statement
The Workforce Capability Unit supports efforts to advance culture, engagement, learning, leadership, and capability development
strategies through the design and production of training and eLearning materials, implementation, promotion, delivery, and
evaluation of initiatives.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide daily administrative and coordination support for corporate training programs and team operations.
2. Use the customer support software (JIRA) to efficiently respond to customer requests in a highly professional and client-
focused manner.
3. Use the enterprise Learning Management System to support blended and online learning environments.
4. Provide accurate and timely support and guidance to participants and stakeholders for face-to-face, virtual, online and blended
programs.
5. Ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting from various systems.
6. Maintain and develop procedural documents, training materials and user guides for use in Workforce Capability initiatives and
provide project support as required.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated experience in providing high quality administrative support to plan, manage and coordinate events or training,
including promotion, schedules, evaluations and reports.
2. Competency using a wide range of computer software packages, including the Microsoft Office suite and business systems.
3. Proven ability to communicate, consult and collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders and service providers for
effective program delivery.
4. Demonstrated written skills in developing procedural documents, training manuals, user guides and documentation.
5. Ability to analyse and interpret data, information and coordinate information and responses for reports when required.
6. Proven organisational skills including attention to detail, time management, ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
7. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude that emulates DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest and innovative.
Desirable
1. Previous experience administering within a Learning Management System (LMS).
