blackMILK Candles is a family owned business in Wollongong NSW.
We create, manufacture and sell Candles, Room mists, Diffusers, Soaps, Perfume oils and Hand and Body products to a retail and wholesale market.
We are looking for a highly motivated Administration/ Customer service assistant that can work independently, as well as part of a team.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Customer service and follow up, replying to customer enquiries
- Day to day invoice input
- Book keeping including bank rec and BAS preparation
- Packing of orders and freight organisation and input
- Co-ordinating with Candle room in production and fullfilment of orders
- Ordering of supplies and packaging
- Monthly reporting
- Liasing with company Reps
- Stocktaking
- Updating of website and fieldfolio
- Maintanance of retail shop front
Desired Skills and Experience
Do you have what it takes? You’ll need:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organisational and task management skills, including the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Strong writing, communication, interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with customers
- Be able to solve problems and over come adversity when needed
- The ability to pick up new platforms or software with ease
- Knowledge of Xero is highly recommended
- An inquisitive mentality with a self-driven and independent approach to problem-solving, as well as the ability to ask for help when necessary
- A pro-active nature and initiative to be able to jump in and get your hands dirty when needed

Salary: $52,181.22 – $55,000.00 per year
