Why your role matters
The Administrative Officer will coordinate a broad range of office functions as well as provide administrative and legal support to the Legal & Compliance Office.
You will bring your exceptional administrative and clerical skills to work confidently in this fast-paced environment with a focus on legal documentation support, alongside general office coordination activities and improvements to support the efficient operation of the Legal & Compliance Office.
The Administrative Assistant reports to and works in close collaboration with the Legal Operations Manager.
Who you are
You will have a high level of administrative experience with a background in a legal secretarial or paralegal role with familiarity with legal processes, documentation and procedures alongside:
- Ideally, experience in legal documentation support such as coordinating responses to subpoenas, preparation of Counsel briefs and managing the development of contractual documentation.
- Confidence in using Office 365 to maintain filing systems, spreadsheets, databases, websites, knowledge management and other administrative systems.
- Strong communication, client service and interpersonal skills to enable professional interaction with a range of people across large organisations.
- Excellent time management and high attention to detail.
- Ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
- Collaborative and a problem solver.
