Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for a position as Administrative Support Officers working within the Health Information Services (HIS) Department.
Casual Relievers are required to provide leave coverage for staff with hours of duty dictated by staff rostering arrangements over a 24 hour, 7 day per week roster and will include weekends, public holidays, afternoon, evening and night shifts. Full time hours will be required for initial training and during periods of planned leave. Flexibility and availability of the successful applicant at short notice is essential.
Duties will involve maintenance of confidential medical records, admission of patients, filing, data input, Emergency Reception duties, admissions, switchboard and other administrative tasks.
What you bring
The successful applicant have developed experience and skills involving maintenance of confidential records, data input, reception duties, switchboard and other administrative tasks.
Experience in data entry is essential. Knowledge of medical terminology would be favourably regarded. The ability to work both independently without supervision and as an integral part of a busy team, together with excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.
