About the Role
Uniting Communities Home & Community Aged Care (HCAC) programs enable older people to continue living at home for as long as possible by maintaining their independence, health and connection with their community.
We are currently seeking a part time Administration Support Officer in Port Augusta who will be responsible for providing Home and Community Aged Care with reception, financial, secretarial and administrative support.
Duties and Responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Provide proactive reception and administrative support to the Senior Coordinator and the HCAC team, including taking phone calls and delivery of messages to team
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Assistance with managing local fleet cars service and maintenance
- Create and update spreadsheets/worksheets
- Book meeting rooms and prepare meeting room set up and requirements including agendas, materials and minutes
- Ensure office and /promotional/marketing supplies are ordered and maintained
- Roster all care worker shifts and shift changes to ensure excellent customer service delivery and payroll and finance deadlines are met
- Liaison with the Finance department including invoicing as required- credit card transactions and petty cash reconciliation
- Help support the Senior Coordinator with care worker documentation and all administration of documentation as required
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Professional experience in reception, financial, secretarial and administrative support
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask across programs and prioritise competing demands
- Sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of applications
- Strong administrative and computer skills
