After Sales Head (Automotive Industry)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service Management
- Oversee the customer service department to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries, complaints, and issues.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements based on feedback analysis.
2. Warranty Claims Management:
- Manage the warranty claims process, including the validation, approval, and reimbursement of warranty claims.
- Work closely with the engineering and quality control teams to address recurring issues and minimize warranty claims.
3. Spare Parts Management:**
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize spare parts availability while minimizing carrying costs.
- Ensure accurate tracking of spare parts inventory and timely replenishment to meet demand.
4. Technical Support:**
- Provide technical support to customers, service centers, and field service engineers to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to provide timely resolutions to technical issues.
5. Service Center Operations:**
- Oversee the operations of service centers, including staffing, training, and performance management.
- Monitor service center performance metrics and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
6. Budgeting and Forecasting:**
- Develop annual budgets for the after-sales department and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Forecast after-sales revenue and expenses based on historical data and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in after-sales service management within the Automotive Industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and chassis components.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to drive informed decision-making.
- Proven track record of improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Familiarity with warranty management systems and spare parts inventory management software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
