The role
Reporting to the Tufting Supervisor, the Leading Hand will be responsible for the liaison between operators and the supervisor to ensure efficient running of the shift and that production targets are meet. You will ensure key/priority machines are running, production setup/check off is completed, faults are detected and rectified and to answer any queries regarding production activities.

About you
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
Sound tufting/carpet manufacturing knowledge;
Knowledge of company policies/procedures;
Ability to multitask and problem solve;
Ability to work unsupervised and use initiative;
Ability to supervise a team; and
Reliability with good time management and organisational skills.
