Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our in-house sales, estimating, and marketing teams to drive sales growth and increase annual recurring revenue (ARR) for our After Sales Group. The primary responsibilities include identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, creating, and nurturing long-term customer accounts, managing existing client relationships, and delivering impactful client presentations. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for exceeding targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the in-house sales, estimating, and marketing teams to align efforts and maximize sales opportunities.
Increase Sales Opportunities: Proactively seek out potential new customers and effectively present products and services to them. Identify and capitalize on opportunities for business expansion and market penetration.
Account Creation and Growth: Acquire new customers and create long-term, sustainable accounts. Nurture client relationships to foster repeat business and ensure continued growth.
Manage Existing Accounts: Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns. Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services.
Focus on Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR): Develop strategies to drive growth in annual recurring revenue. Implement initiatives to increase customer retention and loyalty.
Client Presentations: Conduct client presentations to showcase products and services that meet current needs and anticipate future requirements. Demonstrate a deep understanding of client needs and industry trends.
Skills/Attributes required:
Proven track record of success in Business Development or sales role, preferably in a B2B environment.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Pipedrive CRM software.
