The Organisation:
You will be working with a fabulous not-for-profit organisation, in a friendly and caring team where they truly recognise you for the service you are providing to the residents.
The facility has 66 beds with 30 independent units, servicing both high and low care residents. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional preventative, palliative, curative and rehabilitative nursing care to the residents.
Here you will also enjoy the morning visits of some local kangaroos!
The Location:
You will be living on the beautiful Northern NSW Coastline where you are greeted every day with pristine beaches right on your doorstep. With mountains to the west and the sea to the east, this up and coming area has new housing developments with access good quality schools, hip cafes and restaurants, and local specialty stores. Great little towns in all directions offering boutique breweries and wineries to explore in your downtime.
Only 10mins drive from Coffs Harbour, and just a couple hours from the Gold Coast, this location will still give you that seaside town experience whilst still in close proximity of major facilities such as large shopping centres, weekend markets and easy access to Coffs Harbour airport.
To be eligible for this position you must:
- Have AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Minimum 2 years Registered Nurses
- Ideally have a minimum 2 years experience in Aged Care
- Have a passion for Aged Care and a desire to make a real difference
- Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to work independently and as a team
