Coastlink currently provide services through both the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home Care packages (HCP). Home services including respite, community access, shopping assistance and companionship. We also support clients through our friendship group.

The Role:

The responsibilities of this role will include:
- Providing professional support to our clients and empower them to meet their goals and aspirations.
- Contributing to the overall care, health and wellbeing of our clients.
- Supporting social engagement and inclusion within the community.
- Support client activities through effective record keeping.
- Working within the principles of person-centered practice empowering people and enriching their lives.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
- A Current First Aid Certificate.
- Experience working with people within Aged Care will be highly regarded.
- Experience working with dementia is desirable.
- An ability to work part of and contribute to a team environment as well as independently.
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of WHS issues and risk management for client home-based care.
- A passion to embrace and apply Coastlink's values and ethics to foster a culture of positive support, client empowerment, honesty, accountability, inclusion, respect and empathy.
- To be a courteous representative of Coastlink in all undertakings with service users, their carers and in the community portray a positive public image at all times.
- A NDIS Worker Screen Check, Working with Children Check, current NSW Driver’s license and an RMS driving record.
