Are you an experienced Business Analyst with experience working with cross-functional teams within an Agile environment?
We have an initial 10 month contract opportunity with a potential for a 6 month extension for an Agile Business Analyst to join one of our large Government clients based in Newstead, Brisbane.
They are undertaking a large Service Delivery Transformation Program to deliver people, process and technology solutions.
About the role
The Agile Business Analyst will be responsible to undertake business analysis activities necessary to implement the solution for 3 different projects and deliver the supporting change to achieve the outcomes for the SDT Program successfully.
About you
- You will be an experienced Agile Business Analyst with an ability to work in a cross-functional Agile team
- You will be innovative, strongly customer focused, collaborative, very comfortable liaising with business stakeholders, an enthusiastic advocate for your assigned projects, flexible in your approach to work to deliver effective business value through application of agile practices, principles and lean thinking.
- You will have experience in delivering solutions on Case/Workflow Management platforms. You will preferably have direct experience with the Appian platform.
- As the Service Delivery program is already under way with a partner engaged, you will be required to come up to speed quickly and maintain a high work rate.
- You will document business requirements in the user story format by following Agile techniques.
- You will participate in product backlog refinement to clarify and elaborate user story details, define business-driven acceptance criteria to assist with development and testing of the solution with multi-disciplinary teams.
- You will participate in other Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospective, Sprint Review, Daily Stand-up, Release Planning and support UAT sessions (as required).
- You will lead detailed systems design process by documenting project artefacts including but not limited to functional/non-functional requirements, interface requirements, data requirements.
- You will use Confluence and JIRA tools for documenting different business artefacts.
Prior experience in documenting business requirements in a user story format.
Desirable requirements * Direct experience of the capabilities of the Appian platform or in the implementation of an enterprise-level Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution.
- Experience in the facilitation of changes needed to adapt to changes in technologies, new operating models and business processes to bring about improved organisational performance.
