UST is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Agile Coach to join our Agile Practice in Sydney.
About the role:
An Agile coach at UST is responsible for the capability uplift of Agile Ways of Working within our clients and partner organisations as well as contributing to the intellectual property of UST's Agile Practice to ensure that our consultants can access the most contemporary ideas, frameworks, and methodologies to make our clients successful.
In this role you will:
- Work with organisations to understand the problems to be solved and, using contemporary thinking, advise and implement changes to the way organisations work to help them solve those problems.
- Coach Scrum Masters and their teams to be able to use Agile practices to improve their delivery of value to their customers
- Coach Product Owners in the art of product management, ensuring that their teams have adequate roadmaps, prioritisation and support
- Coach executives and senior leaders in what it takes to lead Agile
- Encourage innovation and experimentation as a way of dealing with complexity and uncertainty.
- Implement practices around of build, measure, learn to ensure an environment of continuous improvement exists.
- Train agility at all levels of maturity to ensure capability uplift of Teams whether business, operations, or delivery
- Help define team structures and levels of work to help organisations achieve optimal flow.
- Facilitate and coach Agile ceremonies, value stream mapping and other events such as learning dojos, open spaces etc
- Build and contribute to building Agile guilds and centres of excellence both internally at UST but also on the client sites
- Identify opportunities inside your client site and in your network to offer UST products and services
- You are an experienced Agile Coach that is passionate about helping people, team and organisations improve the way they work, provide value to their customers and contribute to their organisation.
- You have worked with all manner of teams, in business, operations and delivery and not just IT.
- You have a deep understanding of contemporary agile and lean thinking, and know how to embed Agile frameworks, methodologies and techniques such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean Start-up, and Continuous Delivery in order to improve how organisations work.
- You have excellent facilitation skills to run workshops or courses and other activities for people at all levels of Agile experience.
- You have a strong desire to improve systems and understand what it takes to influence people to change
- You have strong interpersonal, influencing, and multi-level stakeholder management skills. Comfortable with managing executives and stakeholders on high profile deliveries.
