About the role

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is looking for a pro-active, motivated, mechanically minded candidate, who has strong attention to detail and who loves working on a wide range of equipment. You will have an inquisitive nature, look forward to a challenge and really thrive in problem solving when working on equipment. You will be a valued and important team member and will enjoy being part of a team where we help each other out. A key motivation for you will be to find better, more efficient ways of doing things. You will prepare and build a wide range of new agricultural equipment. Additionally, the completion of upgrades, repairs and carrying out inspections & specification checks on this equipment will be key activities in this role.

Qualifications

What you will do: * Prepare and build a wide range of new agricultural equipment.

• Change/alter/add-on/check specifications on equipment and machinery.
• Prepare vehicle/machines for dispatch including; place in or out of stock,
• Test or assist in testing operation of completed product; including operational checks, quality inspections and audits.
• Perform routine checks such as fluid levels and accessories completeness where required.
• Repair or replace defective mechanical/cosmetic parts (incl. decals).

Skills and Experience

• TAFE or secondary studies completed in relevant discipline
• 2 years’ experience in a similar position within the industry
