Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical to join our team in Sydney, NSW. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.

Your role

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;
Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
The essential requirements

2+ years experience on wide body aircraft A330/B787/A350 & A380;
Trade Certificate IV Mechanical;
Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
Strong team player;
Ability to follow supervisory direction;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
Passion for safe work practices;
Valid work visa;
Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
Current Australian Driver's licence.
Shift pattern will be 4 on 2 off subject to change.
