The Position
St John of God Bunbury Hospital located in the south west of Western Australia, is regarded as one of the finest private hospitals outside the metropolitan area.
With 145 beds and more than 330 highly qualified medical practitioners, our health care facility caters for a variety of medical and surgical admissions, palliative care, maternity services, plus allied health and community-based services.
This is an opportunity to join friendly and supportive Allied Health Team as an Allied Health Assistant.
Whilst working in this rewarding role you will provide clinical and administrative support to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, other therapy and nursing staff as required.
To be considered for this role you must have either completed Certificate III Allied Health Assistance, have previous experience in a similar role or be currently completing Allied Health tertiary studies.
This position is being offered on a permanent full time basis working 76 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE).
The successful candidate will meet these essential requirements:

- Certificate III Allied Health Assistance, or suitable experience in a similar position or currently completing tertiary studies in an Allied Health discipline.
- Ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to relate to others in a sensitive and professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage your own workflow and cope with competing demands.
